President Donald Trump's press secretary says the Justice Department should look at prosecuting former FBI Director James Comey. Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters Tuesday that Comey leaked memos containing privileged information to the "New York Times" and gave false testimony to Congress. In reporting on Sanders' comments, "Business Insider" noted that Comey gave memos he wrote to a friend, who gave them to a reporter. Comey's friend insists there was no classified information in the memos.
A White House official told "Business Insider" the reference to false testimony referred to Comey's remarks about Hillary Clinton's emails when he appeared before Congress.
